NTFS Mounting Mac

Hello,

 

Can anyone please recommend some software to mount NTFS drives in Mac OS please?

 

I am sick to death of Mounty. Many times it won't mount a drive unless you plug it back into windows and eject. I can't really control what other people do with their drives.

Me too!

 

There aren't really that many options when it comes to being able to write to NTFS drives on a Mac. Paragon's app/driver seems to be the best one.

We use FUSE for Mac OS X to mount Google Drive folders (via rclone), which seems to be working okay in production (been running in our IT lab for the past term), there's an NTFS module as well:

I was thinking of suggesting FUSE for macOS plus NTFS-3G, but the installation process (especially on Catalina), poor write performance and potential security issues made it seem like a non-starter.

 

The cheapest option would be to get users to reformat their drives as ExFAT which is writable under Windows, macOS and Linux.
