Classroom Management for 1-2-1 School issued Laptops

Our school has moved 100% to cloud using Meraki switches and firewall with azure AD and intune. We use Sharepoint for staff and each student has office 365 (various licenses) is there a good classroom management solution for this set up. How easy would it be to create groups for each of the year groups based off the class lists on ISAMS?

 

The cheaper the better of course but functionality is key.

If you're looking to stay 100% cloud then it is possible to run LanSchool in a serverless / peer-to-peer mode, provided the Teacher and Student machines are both on the same subnet (i.e. both on the same WiFi network) so they can discover each other via packet broadcast.

 

In terms of building out Classroom Management lists from your existing iSAMS lists (i.e. student Azure usernames, teacher names, class ID, room etc), then its very easy to do. We can also schedule an output-import sync between iSAMS and LanSchool so that timetable changes are reflected in our system too (i.e. cover teachers).
