CJones79 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Hi All, I have been asked if there is way we can run a report from the cover diary in SIMS where we can specify the absence type and a date range? Any one have any ideas if and how we do this?
SpreadsheetJockey Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Hi, Here's one way I know of getting that information: SIMS: Tools > Cover > Statistics > Absence Select the relevant date range and reason for absence (and any other details) and press search Shift + Select all the staff members that appear in the list below Click the yellow folder to the right of the list You can then export that list of absences to Excel or print it Not sure if the subsequent list is exactly what you're after but it does do the job more or less I think.
rmorrell Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Craig Tolley's Excel Cover Reports are really good you need to spend a little bit of time to set them up by exporting the noticeboard summary for every day but it doesn't take too long, and then you get some really good excel analysis reports, might help with what you are looking for: https://www.craig-tolley.co.uk/absence-cover-analysis/
