tony85wild Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Hi, I have setup Google GSuite for the school. The staff have been using this for a while now and I would now like pupils to access this. They all have a email account with access to Drive. I am now wondering the best way to set this up for them to login and save work. My first thought was to setup a shared drive, within that create a folder for each class. Pupils would have access to their class folder containing their name. The reason I thought this was to allow staff to see their work as they cannot if saved to ‘My Drive’. Has anyone set GSuite up in a school that could help? Thank you
FN-GM Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Have a look at Google Classroom. It is designed for the purpose.
rogerdnixon Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I'd second Google Classroom. Works great and is easy to use. It manages all the folders etc in the background.
keyboards Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Google classroom and then we've got a shared learning drive with staff as content managers and students as view only etc, basically a networked student drive in essence
