Server 2019 Hyper V Issue

Evening,

 

So as previously stated, our HyperV in place upgrade didn't go as well. As such I've started clean installing the Server. I've built Server 2 and put it back into to cluster. Everything is validating correctly (Still need to rebuild Server 1).

 

HOWEVER - Quick migration works nice when the machines are turned off.

 

Live migration works well from Server 1 to Server 2 but will not go back. It generates an error.

 

I've pinged all the networks from each server and they are all fine. What would you guys be looking for here?

Hi sir

Just a note for you from our experience

 

We standardised on Broadcom 57810 10GB cards for our Clusters. Probably 16 servers (live and a replica cluster) at our main site and Intel X540-T2 on our other site (5 node cluster)

 

We also killed Virtual Machine Queues as per some guidance on AindanFinn on our Broadcom cards as it causes grief.
