Apple File Format

Hi All

A user has a video on there Iphone but at the end of the video it is showing .AAE as a file format. Would any one know if this can be opened all on the Iphone. Any hep would be great

Pretty sure a .AAE file is not the video but the edits of a video/photo on an iOS device. See: https://www.technipages.com/file-extension-aae

 

Are you able to get hold of the device and look to see if you can find the video and not the edits.
