Today's the day our LEA support come in and move our admin (sims) network on to a virtual server that will run alongside our virtual curriculum server. Currently its on a very old peer to peer network that I've been warning them for years is a problem

I've not been kept in the loop about what, how or when :/ The business manager was suppose to be arranging it all but as far as I can see shes not told anyone whats happening or who's going to be responsible for it.

I'm just putting this here for my own sanity really. I'm dreading what is going to be lumped at my door to deal with or what I'm going to have to do to get the admin team back up and running. Hopefully the LEA support guys will do it all or at least show me what I'm suppose to be doing with it. But I'm not holding out much hope to be honest.

Today's going to be a long day............

When I got LA people in to move SIMS, I had to create the virtual server for them to move SIMS to. Things went wrong after the migration (because a few steps were missed by the guy who did the migration), but I just contacted the LA on behalf of the other users. I like it personally, because you can blame them for all the problems!!

I'm sure it will be fine :)
