Tinribs Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Hi All, Almost total wireless newbie. For some reason our Meru Wifi configs keep changing. No idea how and we obviously need to work out why. More immediate, however, is setting the two ESS and security profiles that enable our staff and 6th form to connect to the wifi using their AD credentials. This was working on Friday last week - then on Monday this week both stopped asking for username and password (this is not via a captive portal). I'm assuming the issue is in the config of the security profiles for each of them. If a member of staff is in the correct group and attempts to logon to the wifi all they get asked for is a password without being asked for a username/identity - I have no idea what that password is. If I enter anything into that field the device tries, but never connects. I can post the Meru config if needed but I'm hoping there is a standard setup that someone can send me to fix this - please say I'm not being too naïve! Fairly certain the NPAS side of things is fine. I know that hasn't changed for ages.
fredbayker Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 How did you get on with this? I’m curious to know how you got this working in the first place, I could never get it to work properly and gave up.
