hotmail drag and drop not on Linux Firefox

Normally when something on a website works in Windows and not Linux you immediatly think that it's a tie-in to Microsoft Internet Explorer that's not supported by more standards complient web browsers.

This time things are slightly stranger.

 

The feature I am talking about is the drag and drop message feature in Hotmail/LiveMail. This works on the latest FireFox browser on Windows but on any of the recent Lnux distros I have tried it on.

 

Now is this because I am doing something wrong on Linux or does Microsoft only tolerate Firefox on Windows?

try changing the user agent to see if it makes a difference.
