Automating Student User Disk Quota Changes?

We have user-space quotas setup across the board split by the key stage of learning-e.g KS3 -500mb KS4 - 1GB KS5 - 2GB Year on year as they progress up though the school the student's groups get automatically provisioned in AD but the quota change is still a manual process... anyone know of a way this can be automated?
