CCTV Mapping Software

Hi,

 

Can anybody recommend any free software that would enable me to essentially map out CCTV camera locations on a school outline map? I know I could probably do this with Visio or Publisher, but wondering if there is any free cctv dedicated design software.

I did this using Adobe Fireworks but even MS Paint could do this.

I find Inkscape good for this kind of thing - have your (probably) scanned plans as a locked bottom layer, drop in further layers on top with icons for CCTV cameras. Can add further layers for other stuff as needed - might be handy to share with site staff.

This is what i did, used google maps image of building in background and just put an icon in.
