ICT Support Technician

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.00am – 5.00pm. Full Time, Term Time + 3 weeks (37 weeks per year)

Salary: £18,243 per annum (Based on an FTE salary of £22,269 per annum)

 

Abbot’s Hill School is seeking to recruit an ICT Support Technician who will be part of the School ICT Team and provide technical support to the school’s ICT infrastructure, students and teaching staff on a day-to-day basis.

 

The successful candidate will monitor the Service Desk mailbox and telephones, logging and responding to issues accordingly. Using the ICT Service Desk portal to log requests, update and resolve requests once completed. They will also be responsible for maintaining IT hardware (Monitors, PCs, Laptops, Printers, tablets, AV equipment, peripherals and cabling) and providing support when required. Performing annual electrical PAT testing is also the part of the role.

 

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience in an educational environment is desirable but not essential.
