Harlington_IT Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 One of our admin staff is running census reports, and despite Chrome being set to the default browser, and default for .html files (Windows 10), the reports are opening in IE11. They look naff, but also when she goes to print, IE crashes, while manually opening them in Chrome works great and prints without issues. How can I get SIMS to behave and use Chrome?
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 if you save the file then double click on it from explorer, what does it open in?
Arthur Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 How are you setting Chrome as the default browser? Through the "Set a default associations configuration file" Group Policy setting or just with Chrome's set default browser GPO?
CAM Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 It's a common problem with the census module and suspected to be a result of Capita hardcoding a call to open iexplore in the software itself. 1
