Smartboard randomly disconnecting

Hi,

 

We have a number of SMART SB680 that are probably around 10 to 11 years old and we use Smart Notebook 10. A few of them keep randomly disconnecting so become un-interactive but then a log off and back in again fixes it. This is obviously inconvenient during a lesson.

 

We've tried swapping out the controllers for some spare ones we had knocking around but still do the same thing. Has anyone else come across this and have a fix? or are they just old and need replacing (with no money available)
