Office 365 Total emails in inbox and folders

Hi Everyone,

 

I hope everyone is having a smooth start to the year.

 

We have recently moved our email to office 365 and it seems that users are not able to see the total number of items in their inbox or any of the inbox folders. O365 does show the total number of unread mails but not the total number of mails in a folder.... does anyone know how to enable this for the users or if it is even possible ?

Its in the bottom left of Outlook. I have attached a screenshot of what I see.
