Like a lot of people I have my laptops set up so that they do machine authentication which means that when students logon there should be a connection allready established.

This is far from 100% though.

I'm wondering if it might be better to have local logon with normal user access and then use user authentication and have them enter their domain details to establish the wireless connection.

The only issue with this is that we have a shared student desktop I suppose this could be coped to the local machines anyway.

How would they then access their my documents?
