We are looking to appoint an experienced School ICT Support Technician to provide technical support across a number of schools, based in South Norfolk & Norwich.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows OS and Mac OSX / iOS

Installation and setup of equipment, management of networks, server administration, virtual servers, backups, etc.

Undertake maintenance of school servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network switches and peripherals, including interactive classroom systems

Administration of User Groups and User Accounts, including email accounts on Office 365 and profiles managed through Active Directory

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

Experience working within the education sector

Technical ICT skills, including hardware and networks

Firm understanding of Microsoft Office products

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload

Good interpersonal skills / approachable

 

Essentials:

 

Applicants must be willing to undertake the necessary Enhanced DBS clearing to allow approved access into school environments

Applicants will be required to travel each day between the schools so access to their own car and a clean driving licence is mandatory.

 

This position will include some office based or project work during school holiday periods, which may include remote ICT support for business clients and installations / maintenance work not suitable to be carried out during term time.

 

Typical working hours are 08:30-17:30 with an hour break. Monday to Friday.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00 to £25,000.00 /year
