Windows 10 start menu folder redirection

Hi,

We currently have our Start Menu redirecting from a network location on Windows 7 to hide shortcuts and folders for specific users. However, on Windows 10 hidden folders on the redirection still show but shortcuts that are not in folders act as intended and are hidden? Has anybody else had this issue, any advice is much appreciated.
