Connect Visual Studio to Access Database error

Hi all,

 

I have a student that wants to link their Visual Studio C# Windows Forms .net desktop application linking to an Access database. but they keep getting a error saying "Microsoft.ace.oledb.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine".

 

We have 64bit Office 2016 install. I have tried the access database engine 64 bit for Access 2016, but still getting the same error.

 

Any ideas?
