Installing Windows 10 Pro

Hi,

 

i have a couple of standalone laptops that i'm reinstalling, they came with Home. I'm using an ISO from VLSC, place it on a USB boot and it doesn't give me the option to select pro etc.

 

I've read up and found out that it's reading the embedded key from the bios and automatically installs Home, in order to stop this i've read;

 

 

 

Create a text file called pid.txt and place it in the sources folder on the install USB, inside this text file add the following;

 

[PID]

Value=VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

 

NOTE: this is the generic windows 10 pro key

 

Each time i install it continues to not give me a choice and just installs home.

 

Any advice?

theres a file in sources called ei.cfg delete/rename it
