We purchased a couple of Blink Cameras to trial them for mobile use (we use Mobotix for all fixed cameras). We can't get it to work through our Palo Alto 3220 because I assume we need to allow something inbound on the firewall but have no idea what to allow. Blink's forums aren't very helpful either. They work fine on our BT hub which we use for testing but as soon as they are on the corporate network, nothing!

Long shot but has anyone else got a Blink camera working through their firewall?

You can always use something like wireshark to see what ports and protocols they are trying to use, or contact their support.

I'd be questioning the use of home grade cctv in a school though!

We have a large Mobotix deployment for CCTV so these we just bought to see how well they would work should we want to use them for mobile use for short periods of time. They also aren't being used in areas where children are
