Fazza Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I know you can use the Windows Admin Center to install Drivers remotely to a Windows Server 2019 CORE Server but the drivers I have downloaded from Dells website for the PowerEdge R620 server are all executables - even when you just extract (rather than extract and Install) the files it extracts are more executables to run and you can do that through the Windows Admin Center. How can I install the drivers for a server running Server 2019 Core? The chipset drivers are the same and are also executables. Can I run them as silent installs on the server or have I got to find an alternative download with .inf files or something?
PR-UK Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 RDP on to the Core server and use the command line to run the exe? I've done it for Dell firmware updates for iDRAC as well as NIC drivers and never had any issue the window pops up and the wizards run through as normal.
