Hi everyone.

I have a Dell optiplex 990 machine with SSD and windows 7 pro 64 bit installed and it is giving me blue screens.

I have updated all the drivers.

Could someone look at the dmp file for me to find out the cause?

I don’t know how to read these files, I tried before but failed. Anyone has some tips on this?

Thanks

Use Bluescreenview if you haven't already. It's quite a handy tool.

Looking at yours - it's pointing to 'rdbss.sys' and 'ntoskrnl.exe'

Thank you, I will give that program a go.

By googling 'rdbss.sys' and 'ntoskrnl.exe' it seems that it could be various things. Would you know what to look for first or I just have to go through them all?

Thank you

It's not something I've come across before. I'd probably start with what's mentioned on the BSOD you receive and take it from there.

Is re-imaging the machine out of the question?

Is the Windows 7 PC completely up-to-date in terms of Windows Updates? There have been hotfixes to fix BSODs with rdbss.sys in the past.

I had a quick look at the minidumps and the BSODs are definitely caused by rdbss.sys in both cases.

I have attached the debug logs if anyone else wants to take a look?

Thank you both.

For time saving we just gonna replace the pc with another one from my company.

Hopefully the new pc won't give us blue screens.

Thanks anyway.
