Joko Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Morning everyone, I am currently deploying Gsuite into one of our schools. With Google dir & password sync, everything is working fine. However i would like to set up SSO using our Azure AD. I have followed the Microsoft doc on doing this, but i was under the assumption it would auto log the user in when i go on classroom under their login? Instead it reverts me to the Microsoft portal to log in every time. Is this how it's meant to function? The kids log on different computers each lesson so we can't rely on cookies etc. Any advice would be great! Thanks.
azureusnation Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 We do the opposite here and have GSuite authenticate with Microsoft. But we get a google login much like you are getting a Microsoft login page. Once you enter in your email Microsoft should know to redirect you to Google for authentication. This is needed as Microsoft needs to Authenticate against google to see who you are. After the first login it will just be SSO but this is purposly intended. Alternativly, you could go down the ADFS route and it would be a true SSO login.
willtech Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) Does it work if you go to: http://classroom.google.com/a/your.domain.com Replace your.domain.com with your domain. Also are you using azure seamless sign on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-sso ? Edited June 21, 2019 by willtech
