SCCM - check software usage??

Is there a way SCCM can check to see if some pieces of software have been used?

 

Looking to see if some "I really need this software" has been used this year.

SCCM has the software metering feature built into it but it doesn't work retroactively. If you enable it, it will only track software usage from the time that it was enabled onwards

I think I enabled that when I installed SCCM couple of years ago and then forgot all about it.

I have Software Metering setup BUT didnt add the software to list.
