mdrabble Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Is there a way SCCM can check to see if some pieces of software have been used? Looking to see if some "I really need this software" has been used this year. Cheers.
Norphy Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 SCCM has the software metering feature built into it but it doesn't work retroactively. If you enable it, it will only track software usage from the time that it was enabled onwards https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/apps/deploy-use/monitor-app-usage-with-software-metering 1
mdrabble Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 I think I enabled that when I installed SCCM couple of years ago and then forgot all about it. Will check when I get back to my office.
mdrabble Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Dang it!!! I have Software Metering setup BUT didnt add the software to list.
