ICT Technician – North London

Up to £32,000 + 25 days hols + bank hols + benefits

 

Our client, a leading independent school in the North London area, are currently looking for an experienced IT Technician to join their existing team. Led by the Head of Desktop Services, your role will be to support all members of the school in their use of Information Technology including desktop equipment, infrastructure, networking and training.

 

The postholder will be responsible for providing first class, customer focused IT Support, building and updating operating systems and applications images for desktops/laptops, patching, installing and configuring computers, printers and ipads, managing the SIMS provisioning tool as well as updating the Service Desk system with progress, including managing communication with users through to completion of incidents.

 

Requirements;

 

• Worked in a relevant ICT position, preferably within the Education Sector

• Experience supporting hardware, software and AV equipment

• Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016/19

• Active Directory, Office 365

• HP Printers, Desktop Hardware, Network Printing

• iPads/iOS

• Networking equipment (Patching, wireless technologies etc.)

• Ability to communicate effectively at different levels throughout the school

 

Desirable;

 

• An honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject

• Appropriate industry qualification (MCP, CompTIA A+ etc.)

• An understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies
