HP SMART Store App - How do i stop this showing for students

I have found that in the new image of windows 10 LTSC 2019 when a student logs on it automatically pops up in the corner about the HP smart app. Students can click on this and start adding printers found on the network.

Is there a way to stop this app from running? or is there a way to block the app through group policy?

Try enabling the "Prevent device metadata retrieval from the Internet" GPO, delete any cached user profiles and then get a student to login again. See link below for more details.

Alternatively block the app using AppLocker. I think it will show up as AD2F1837.HPPrinterControl in the "Packaged App Rules" section.
