[wds] PXE Drivers for intel i217-lm

Has anyone got any working drivers for PXE booting the i217-lm intel nic chipset ? I just cannot get any to work, tried everything I can find and even tried injecting via DISM straight into the bootimage . I just get the usual PXE-M0F and PXE-E53 errors

 

PXE boot works fine on other chipsets, just not this one (and I've a lot to do) Booting from pxe iso works fine though

 

Other thing is if I try injecting them via WDS into the image I get a request not supported

Not sure if it helps, but I'm using v12.17.8.9 of the I217-LM driver and that works fine in the SCCM boot image.

Got that from https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/softpaq/WinPE10.html but still doesn't work - going to attempt to inject that via DISM

 

 

No dice on the DISM injection either - this NIC sucks

Is the PnP Id of your NIC listed in the .inf of the driver you are injecting?

Not checked against the hardware, but I pulled the drivers from the HP g1 600 pack too

 

It is listed in the inf, I'll check against the physical hardware tomorrow when I'm back in

Checked against the hardware and the PnP ID is the same as the one in the inf except for the REV_04

 

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_153A&SUBSYS_18E7103C&REV_04

 

Wonder if i can just modify the inf...

Looks like it's bios related, I had one boot with an early bios but was taking forever to install - I upgraded to the latest bios and no more PXE boot - can't go back over either So I guess it's CD Boot time (YAY!)
