Terastation Pro admin password reset.

Does anyone know if it's possible to hack or reset the admin password on these I've forgotten it and what I've written down isn't correct and I've tried all manner of other combinations.

Yeah found that myself.

 

I can't seem to locate an init button on my unit.

Yep, if the init reset button doesn't work, rip the thing apart and mount the drive(s) in the nearest Linux machine and alter /etc/password as required.

Ah ha thought it might be under the front panel just looking for the key now, if not it's only plastic so I'll butcher it.

 

It's being replaced with a 5.25TB Opefiler SAN/NAS in the summer anyway.
