O365, GSuite + other sign in?

Trying to figure out a work around and I think it may not be possible so wonder if anyone else can have a thunk.

 

We mostly use O365 and to help simplify everything we linked Gsuite SSO with O365. So users are created on prem, synced with Azure AD and then available to SSO.

 

For our little ones we were hoping to use QR code sign in. It has since transpired that to make use of this, the QR Code provider has to be set as the GSuite SSO provider which would knock out the O365 SSO for everyone else.

 

Looked again at GSuite Password Sync and if we set that up it would necessitate a password reset for every user.

 

Has anyone else had this issue or is there any way anyone can think of resolving this, even if it is a different QR Code solution?
