[sims] SOLUS3 Error processing private key

Since the Spring update we are getting an error message when we try to deploy an agent out to machines.

 

The install fails with :

 

Errors processing private key. Object already exists.

 

Any ideas?

It was all set up by our SIMS Support Unit. They are stumped with this error too.

I will ask them if they can re-register the site.

check you have access to the machinekeys folder on the deployment server (something like C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys I think)

I'm sure solus, on install writes a file in here and you may need to reset the permissions if they've been lost

What should the permissions be here? Currently has everyone and administrators "special" permissions. This is the same as another server which is not a Sims server.

1db350cf11068fb3b5e88527c9af71fd_1f11bfde-b0ea-4c39-9dc7-ad0ffbc991a1 seems to need write permissions for the user you want to run solus 3 gui as, which is odd, as it's never written to except at installation
