ozydave Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Afternoon, Just been handed the setup instructions for EduLinkOne. Didn't know anything about it till this point, I'm only the network manager after all Just looking at the demo this morning and it does look good and the posts on EduGeek seem to rate it. Just wondering what lawful basis for article 6 and 9 you are using? Does EduLinkOne have the ability to stop processing data for those students 13 and above if they refuse consent. (if consent is the lawful basis) Cheers
BKGarry Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 When publishing a recent letter on our launch of it, we included a statement similar to this, as all of this is covered for the running of the school. Access to data about parents child(ren), including (but not restricted to) Attendance, Behaviour, Achievement, Grade and Yearly reports and homework, is required for parental communication and the running of the school. This allows for the school to work with parents in supporting their child(ren) behaviour and attainment within their school life.
