Bankesy Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Good morning Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction here: Having deleted a user from our on premise AD it came to light he had been saving work to his OneDrive which I had not copied out prior to deleting the account. Now I can see see his account in deleted users under the O365 admin centre and the option to restore it. However, having never restored an account this way I am uncertain as to what will happen. The associated e-mail address is now being used as an alias of his new account so I don't want that to break and I'm not even sure if restoring the account will do anything to enable OneDrive access and get the missing files. On a slightly separate note, I exported a .pst of his old account prior to deletion but when importing it there are roughly 10 days worth of e-mails missing. If anybody has any ideas on any of the above I would be grateful. Thank you
chaplic Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 If you can un-delete the on-premise account, then it will just sync up as if nothing had happened. However, in this case, that account wont be synced up as there will be a clash of proxyAddresses You can restore the account to a cloud account with restore-msoluser and using the -autoreconcileproxyconflicts switch will deal with the dup details
