Offline file sync

I am having an issue with windows 10 laptop sync.

 

We use folder redirection to redirect the desktop et al and the Documents folder to a server share. The documents folder does go to a different share, but I don’t think that is the issue.

Offline files are set via GPO.

 

It all works well with the exception that on logging in when online the only folder that does not automatically sync is the documents folder. It remains “separate” until a manual “sync” using the context menu option of “SYNC>Sync selected offline files” is run.

 

All other offline files, both on the desktop and in mapped drive very quickly sync up.

 

Any suggestions as to why the documents folder is not automatically updating. Even going to the sync centre and using sync now does not sync the documents folder.
