jordanyoungrsa Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Hi All, Recently setup RD Web access and associated roles (Connection broker, session host, gateway, licensing) on a server 2019 x64 standard VM running on Hyper-V. Locally web access works fine with published apps launching and working perfectly. Onto the issue... can't see the web page externally through out smoothwall. I have included screenshots of our smoothwall port forward config and gateway settings. Any help will be much appreciated as we're under a lot of pressure to get this operational.
FN-GM Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 You only need TCP/443 open. Do not open 3389 as this will be a security issue.

FN-GM Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Have you configured your DNS to point to the external IP? If so it can take 48 hours for that to kick in.
jordanyoungrsa Posted March 27, 2019 Author Posted March 27, 2019 Haven't forwarded to DNS yet as wanted to prove it working via going to external ip first. DNS record on local DNS server to remoteaccess.company.com to local IP
