MikeGreen Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Afternoon All, I am hoping someone can help........ We have a primary school which is set up as a VLAN on our domain and I am unable to rebuild any machine at the primary VIA WDS. I get "ProxyDHCP did not reply to request on port 4011" but it only happens on this VLAN (we have lots of VLAN's which where setup by council). I have checked the scope options in DHCP and these are correct. I have brought a machine back from the primary school and built it here fine, i have changed the VLAN on the port to be a "primary school" VLAN and it fails again, it just doesnt like that VLAN. We had new hosts installed last summer and upgraded VMware and this is the first time we have tried to rebuild since then. We are a CC4 site (until the summer) and this is logged with RM and they have been looking at it for around 3/4 weeks but we still got nothing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards Mike
djm968 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 (edited) Do you have an IP Helper address pointing to your PXE boot server in that VLAN? Take a look at this. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/271caaeb-b7c8-4355-8c15-1f25ad7b2e21/ip-helperaddress-amp-pxe-broadcast?forum=winserversetup Edited March 21, 2019 by djm968
