Switch Keyboard Languages

Hi,

I want to be able to switch keyboard language settings via the icon tray shortcut - this is for students to use a Spanish keyboard for their exams.

 

At present we have a student GPO that defaults the language/keyboard settings to to English(UK) and no shortcuts etc are displayed in the icon tray (ENG/Language bar etc). I assume that this is because English is the only listed language.

As an admin i can install another language e.g Spanish and the shortcut appears... great.

 

The problem is (with some testing) i have found that installing a language seems to be user based - so cant install as admin and it appears for all users. As you can see my problem - students are not allowed access to control panel/settings to install languages so the ENG/ESP option appears.

 

Has anyone had the same issue?

I have had a play with GPO settings but not sure which ones to enable/disable etc..
