Neville Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 How do you disable the following in Group policy Start-programs-accessories-system tools and also communications please?
rob_f Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Users who aren't local administrators shouldn't have access to anything in System Tools anyway, and shouldn't even get the tasty stuff on their start menu. There's no direct way of removing these from the start menu with group policy, other than through a startup script which removes them from the start menu folder in the profile, or by folder redirection of the start menu itself to a structure which doesn't have these folders. hth rob.
GAS Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Have you tried redirecting their desktop and all short cut, at our school they only get what we give them. We have this setup for all student and staff. Ajay
