Hello,

Smoothwall was setup by an external company before I started. The server is an HP Prolient with 2 500Gb

Last week the caretaker accidentally switched off the air con in the server room. Smoothwall is reporting that one of the drives has failed and the software mirror is degraded.

Smoothwall is still functioning and I havent seen any dip in performance.

A new drive was delivered yesterday. Anyone know what the replacement procedure is?

Thanks!

Hi rob980

Give support a call or use the chat on kb.smoothwall.net. Once the new drive is in, it's a cli command to include the new drive in the broken mirror. Will take a little time before it's initiated but will stay functional - it may also be available as a command in the setup program that shows when you issue the command "setup" on the cli. Can't remember of the top of my head.

  • Thanks 1
