The trust currently comprising of 6 academies, including secondary, primary and a post-16 free school. The central IT team provide vital support with new IT systems, along with continuing to support our existing systems in all academies.

This role will be pivotal in supporting teaching and learning, ensuring IT services are implemented, delivered effectively and IT equipment is fit for purpose, allowing students access to a high quality education. You will be required to work as part of a large team across a range of sites, therefore, the ability to work collaboratively with others is essential to this role, as is the ability to line manage staff. The trust is looking for someone who can support the IT development plan, advising members of the MAT of the best value and use of technology throughout academy operations.

The successful candidate will be required to have proficient technical experience in a range of hardware and software and the trust welcomes applications from experienced and highly skilled professionals from both the education and commercial sector.

You will be based at Cathedral Academy. However, the nature of the role requires regular travel to the trust’s academies so it essential for the successful candidate to be able to drive and have the use of a car for business use.
