I have registered the sims parent lite app and registered some staff members, they have made changes to their childs records and it shows as pending. However the adminstrators have not received a notification.

did you add anyone as a SLG alert admin?

Yes two people with full administrator permission

I was going to suggest that within the sims admin portal you can nominate an account for alerts - but actually it doesn't affect anything as I get the SLG alerts and I didn't put my details in.

 

It's not always superfast to update the SLG alerts window in SIMS - are they still not showing today?

I am confused as I have put the people with their emails as the administrators to receive notifications with the set up if the parent app. Where is SLG alerts window is it something different?

Yes, there's a panel on your SIMS homepage (in the SIMS.net software on your PC) that you can enable called "SLG Alerts" - it'll show you when you have a new data collection sheet to review and provides a link to "routines - SLG & SIMS Online - Data Collection sheet"
