CRizzio Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 (edited) @nickbro, I am one of the people working with the "My Files" not showing on version 10.6. I have cowered the forum looking for the answer. After giving up on finding a solution for 10.6 I decided to follow the lead of others and install 10.5. I downloaded a fresh install and the initial setup went fine. However after logging in I am now facing the continuous refresh loop. Below are the details of what I did to this point. We had an older version of HAP running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard server and experienced a catastrophic failure. I am setting this new install of HAP on Windows Server 2016 Standard. 1. Fresh install of 10.5 Web Core. 2. Verified IIS setup. 3. Verified folder permissions. 4. Successfully ran setup. I only setup the "General", "Active Directory", and "Proxy/SMTP Server" tabs. 5. I modified the section of web.config containing access for setup.aspx. 6. Login page works fine. 7. After login get continual refreshes of the main page. I cannot click anything. 8. Saw comments online about installing the Bookings and Help Desk modules. 9. I shutdown the site and the Application Pool. 10. I extracted the Bookings and Help Desk zip files into the HAP folder. 11. I started up the Application Pool then the website. 12. As soon as I navigate to the website I get the following error. Could not load type 'HAP.Web.Configuration.HandlerAPI' from assembly 'HAP.Web.Configuration, Version=10.0.418.1300, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. 13. I saw a comment from Nicbro about possibly not having the right "HAP.Web.Configuration" dll. The version number from the one in the bin folder was 10.0.418.1300 as indicated in the error message. 14. I took the version from the HAP 10.6 install (v10.6.1801.600) and copied to my website bin folder. 15. I navigated to the website and brought up the login page with no error. 16. I was able to login but I am back to the continual refreshing. 17. If I click at the right time I can get to the configuration page on a new browser tab and navigate the various tabs. 18. The original tab that was on the main page is still open and continually refreshing. 19. While on the HAP configuration page I added a drive mapping and verified that files are showing! 20. Now I just need to solve the continuous refresh problem on the main page!!! Edited March 1, 2019 by elsiegee40
