We require an extremely ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our Yorkshire Causeway School Trust (YCST) Network team as an ICT Technician.

 

Working as part of the ICT support team, you will undertake a great variety of tasks. These will include, but are not limited to: maintaining the YCST infrastructure and delivering effective service, support and, ultimately, solutions, to staff and students of the YCST, and to other schools supported by the Trust.

 

As an integral and highly valued part of the School Trust you will be customer-centric, pro-active and, where necessary, re-active, in order to support the continuous and smooth running of the IT systems within the Trust. You will be competent in diagnosing and resolving issues, and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will add value by your methodical yet creative approach to problem-solving, prioritising tasks, and your capacity to deal with situations calmly and diplomatically as required.

 

You will also, from time to time, be called upon to set-up IT/AVA facilities for assemblies, exams and other settings as needed, so a flexible and positive can-do approach towards all Trust school staff and students is essential.

 

Working knowledge and experience of network systems and trends is required and ICT experience in the Education sector would be advantageous.

 

The position is full time, but term time only may be considered on a pro-rata salary.
