IT Support Analyst/Engineer – Oxford * URGENT *

Salary - £25,000 - £29,000 dependent on experience

Our client, a prestigious Independent school in Oxford are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst/Engineer to provide a high level of support to the school and its residences.

 

As the IT Support Analyst/Engineer you will provide 1^st and 2^nd line support and preventative maintenance on core systems and equipment, to ensure a high level of reliability.

You will also be required to take full responsibility for a school-wide system, enabling you to develop your skills in a particular technology.

 

Essential Technical Skills:

 

· Experience providing IT support in a Networked Environment, ideally within a school

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems

· Active Directory and Group Policy

· Supporting and Maintaining Projectors, Photocopiers, Printers and Scanners

 

 

To be considered for this role, you must have some experience of the following technologies:

 

· Recovering System Failures

· Virtualisation platforms

· Microsoft Exchange/Office 365

· Microsoft WSUS/SCCM

· IOS / Android platforms, Apple OSX/iOS

· Backup systems

· Antivirus/Malware systems

· Cabled Network Environments

· Internet Filtering Technologies

· Resolving basic Wi-Fi issues

· Monitoring and Alerting Systems

· SAN Systems

· RDP – Remote Desktop Protocol
