[sims] creating aspects for marksheets

Hi All

 

I need some advice on the following issue. I am just designing a mark sheet which will record grade for tests. Number of tests can be around 16 per academic year however this can fluctuate; i am thinking to add 16 columns in the beginning and add additional columns as and when needed.

I could create an aspect per each test or i create one aspect for each subject and create enough result sets (initially 16 result sets / one results set per test) and change the column headings on the mark book to reflect the appropriate test. In this way, i limit the number of aspects to around 20 (i have 20 subjects) as oppose to 320 aspects ( 16 * 20). I am wondering which is the best way to approach this, any advice will be much appreciated.

I'd go one aspect per subject with a result set for each test.

Thanks for the suggestion, i am also thinking to do the same.

I agree, 1 aspect per subject allows easier tracking over time using resultsets.
