Tammie Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Hello all Before Christmas a staff member's Gmail wasn't loading properly on some occasions and on others Smoothwall was blocking it, saying it was pornography. Turned out she had 13k+ emails and when we deleted them and reinstalled Chrome, all was well. Now another user on the same PC has the same issue - Gmail not loading, or when it does, it gets blocked by Smoothwall. I've checked she was signed into Chrome (she was), signed her out and in again, signed her out, uninstalled Chrome, reinstalled it, signed her in ... no difference. I can sign in to my Chrome/Gmail account on her PC (on her windows account too) with no issue. No-one else has reported a problem. She can't sign into Chrome/Gmail on another PC either. Chromebook is fine. Anyone got any ideas? TIA
Tammie Posted January 8, 2019 Author Posted January 8, 2019 It was nothing to do with Smoothwall in the end. It eventually stopped loading on her Chromebook too, so I was told to delete the mail/u/0/ bit of the URL. It loaded fine after that on all her devices. I guess Smoothwall was blocking it because it wasn't loading properly? 1
