Updating AUP

Hi everyone,

 

I've been tasked with updating our AUP for ICT. It's not been updated since 2013 and covers the basics. Now we're in 2019 (Happy new year!), what needs to be included?

I'm expecting some obvious answers but there's likely to be some I've missed.

What does your current one say? What do you feel is missing?

Not sharing passwords, no memory sticks, no innapropriate content, no physical damage to equipment etc. A page and a half of big, spaced out text doesn't seem enough for the modern world of technology.

Acknowledgement that any activity on school systems may be monitored; compliance with data protection policy; possibly include appropriate use of social media of it's not in any of your other policies. Edited January 7, 2019 by jmak
