SIMS technical support options

Hi all

 

At the moment our school is supported by Capita Direct for any technical issues. I have reviewed the renewal invoice but notice bar renewal costs for 'Annual Entitlement' with SIMS.net, inTouch etc I'm not seeing a seperate itemised bill for support? Is this built into the renewal if anybody knows?

 

I am looking at maybe getting third party support (I am looking at a company called SBS that has annual SIMS maintenance and support packages) so any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Will,

 

Its changed a little this year, for me it has in anyway.

 

Annual Entitlement came through with a copy of my modules attached but asking me to complete it in the Capita Renewals Portal - https://renewals.capita-cs.co.uk/ (you can login with your "Capita my account" details)

 

My Enhanced Support came through via email to a member of Finance. Might be worth checking with either Finance or possibly admin? It would be nice if it was all done through the renewals portal for ease.

I was under the impression that only Capita can sell a school maintenance if the school holds the license. Worth checking with Capita.
