Outdoor Digital Signage with Xibo

Hi folks,

 

Are any of you using Xibo for an outdoor signage solution?

 

I'm looking for some kind of tough weather proof screen and stand with space to store a small PC (the Xibo player) that could be fixed to the ground in the centre of a playground.

 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No, but that sounds in the right ballpark for a figure.

 

An outdoor screen is gonna have a whole host of different settings and issues to overcome - not least of all would be the brightness issue. You mention a playground? I assume this is for a primary? If so the cost is simply going to be far too much IMHO.

Talk to Sharp. We have been a one of cost of about half that for 70" screen and portrait enclosure. That doesn't include device to drive it or installation but can't believe that would double the cost, plus it would be a one off.
