2x MIS Consultant – Buckinghamshire – Full Time (Part Time considered)

Up to £32,000 dependent on experience

 

We are currently recruiting for a MIS Consultant for a growing education IT Support Company which provides a range of technical services to schools.

 

The company is well established and growing rapidly supplying day to day operational support, networking, broadband, MIS support (SIMS and Integris) and installation project work.

 

As an MIS Consultant, it will be your job to provide 2nd and 3rd Line telephone and remote MIS support to both primary and secondary schools, facilitate communication between your schools and the company, keep up to date with what services the company can offer and manager your customer accounts.

 

Responsibilities;

· Provide a one-stop shop for telephone support and assistance on schools MIS software

· Log all queries and requests to the Staff Portal helpdesk system

· Keep schools regularly informed of progress

· Test and implement new MIS products/upgrades

· Support the configuration and update of MIS systems in schools

· Advise customers on the appropriate training and relevant medium of delivery

· Advise and guide schools on improvements/processes whilst promoting effective use of MIS systems

· Enable schools to complete their DfE statutory requirements by holding seminars/workspace sessions

 

Skills and Experience;

· Excellent knowledge of SIMS and/or Integris

· Experience providing 2^nd / 3^rd line telephone and remote MIS support

· A professional, cheerful and clear telephone manner with a focus on excellent customer service skills

· Able to deliver training to a high standard to both groups and one to one

 

This position is currently a Full Time role, although the employer may consider a flexible working pattern, Term Time only or possibly Part Time for the right candidate.
